Hotel Rio sul Mare - Rio Marina Isola d'Elba (LI)
Getting to Elba by ferry or by boat you'll see the 19th century facade of the Hotel Rio , facing the harbour of Rio Marina. The staff is very kind and helpfull. they will do their very best to make your stay in Elba memorable.
They will provide you informations on how to reach the most beautiful beaches, places to visit and if you like to collect minerals they will advise you on what equipment to the mines. The 35 rooms have sea-view. All of them are equipped with telephone, private bath,hairdryer, colour Tv and minibar. Some of them have a terrace.
The closest beach is 50 mts from the Hotel and if you want you can choose a different beach every day: Marina di Gennaro, Il Porticciolo, Topinetti, Cala Seregola, Frugoso... are unique because they reflect the colours of the minerals: from dark reds to sparkling silver.
Just across the road in front of the Hotel there is a diving centre, sailing school, wind-surf and boat rental. And if you come with your own boat you can leave it in front of the hotel.
You reach Rio Marina directly from Piombino by ferry: The journey lasts 30 minutes. |
